What is Rhetoric?

 Here are a few examples of the categories students created for these new vocabulary words. The purpose of this activity is to help students become familiar with the words and deepen their thinking before we learn how they are all related. 

The goal is that as we learn what each term means, students will begin reformulating the categories in their heads.

When students completed this portion of the activity they began taking notes and answering questions about rhetoric.
